HOW TO MAKE GHEE...

Ghee is made by melting regular butter which separates the milk fat from the milk solids. Once separated the milk solids are then removed leaving behind liquid gold. Ghee does not need refrigeration, just be careful to always use a dry clean spoon and not double dip into the jar. Ghee is ideal for both internal and external use. Consider making a monthly batch.

Make a pot of Kitchari.

Kitchari is one of the best foods to help reset your body. It is easy to make, easy to digest, and a wonderful way to end a day. There are many different recipes for this warm food, I have attached one for your consideration.

Note: Whether you use whole or split mung beans it is best to soak the beans for at least 3-hrs if not overnight before cooking them. It is also best to soak your rice for 10-15-minutes before cooking.

ABHYANGA….

Abhyanga means self-massage. It is an Ayurvedic practice that involves messaging the body with warmed herb infused oils. Abhyanga is a loving kind act upon yourself to help in your overall wellbeing.

IMPORTANT NOTE: before applying oil, make sure you have towels laid on the floor and you have your slippers ready to put on so you do not slip and fall from the oils! Very important.
